What a special lady Pauline is.
We came across her rescue site following the sad loss of our old 16yr persian and were actively looking for another persian. We found Buddy on the cats for adoption page and immediately fell in love. We travelled the 150 mile round trip twice from our home to get him, firstly for the initial visit then to collect him after our home check
Pauline is a wonderful lady who clearly puts the cats in her care first. Her assessment of the cats natures for adoption are spot on.
Buddy has settled with us very very well and we love him to bits, he has bagged the spot on the back of the couch next to the radiator. Sometimes you have to turn the telly up to hear over his big purrs.
We say a massive thank you to Pauline for all her love and care to the poor cats that she rescues. We are so lucky to have Buddy with us and appreciate all you do.
Carry on the fab work you really are one in a million xx

Pauline assessed our cats we then adopted (were Robbie and Sully) and had them spot on! They didn't react to our current cats at all and so introduction was very easy. We are looking to adopt again from Pauline.
She is very thorough and has the cat's best interests always at the forefront of everything she does - which is why we are now helping her with the Newsletter launch and fund raising.

I came across Paulines site when looking for a kitten to adopt. We have adopted Massie who is a 19 week old Maine Coone x ragdoll. Sadly her baby brother and Mum passed away. She is absolutely gorgeous and we love her. Our 2 year old Ragdoll loves her too and so does our Redsetter. Pauline is one of lifes Angels. She is a wonderful caring person who is dedicated to helping and homing cats. I am so ashamed of the human race when they can mistreat lovely creatures. The service offered by Thorneywood was impeccable, all of the cats and kittens rehomed are perfect when they leave the caring arms of Pauline. I cannot express my gratitude and admiration enough. Thank you Pauline.
I will spread the word take a look at the Thorneywood site and be amazed, be inspired. Adopt, adopt.
If you adopted Massie's (previously Lexi) sister I would be pleased to hear if you too are smittenxx We feel so lucky to have Massie. Thanks again Pauline Kim & Alan Ward Leicestershire

I was lucky to find Thorneywood cat rescue, after one of my persian cats died suddenly, I was heart broken - I contacted Pauline and went to see all the cats she had in. They were all so beautiful but there was one special little girl called Martha the friendliest and the most adorable little cat, Martha had been rejected by her previous owner. When I saw how friendly she was I knew she was the one, she will never replace Snowball but she has filled a massive gap in my heart. Thanks Pauline X

we have now had our lovely persian Tilly Trotter for about 3 months, she is now almost grown up and very settled with our other 4 persians. She is such a fusspot, loves to be stroked especially when she is lying on our bed on her fluffy blanket. Loves tuna fish (only the best john west) !! how she knows is beyond me. Loves playtime and joins in the games. Plays in the garden with the others, sometimes not wanting to come in. We love her very much so Thank you Pauline for allowing us to adopt her. Love from Tilly xxxx (will ask paul to send some pics asap)

Hi Pauline,
Just a quick note to let you know how Uno is doing. He came home to us on 3rd March so he's had a good couple of months with us and he's settled in fantastic. He's so loving and gets all the attention and care he deserves. From day one we knew we had made the right choice to adopt him and we all love him very much! Please email me your email address and I'll send over some photos of us all. My son in particular has made a great bond with Uno and they enjoy playtime and cuddles!

Thanks again

I've been looking on your website & I think you do an amazing job. I fell 'in love' with Mikie, he looks a gorgeous cat. I was very emotional reading about Razzle, the horrendous start to his life & how you nursed him back to health. He's a gorgeous boy. I wish I lived closer to you as I would've loved to have helped you out at your rescue centre. I have 3 rescue cats (1 DSH, 2 DLH) & a Persian, all indoor cats, so never a dull moment :)
