My name is Pauline I am a Cancer survivor , and have Fibromyalgia I have bad days and good and my cats are my inspiration every day.
I have loved cats since I was a child especially Persians.I currently have 2 Chinchilla Persians an Exotic a Devon Rex and a Ragdoll.
I have owned several over the years, most of them being rescues and not always in a good state.
I have worked as a volunteer for the RSPCA a few years ago for 2 years and seen many neglected cats with badly matted coats and skin problems, often I would take them home and nurse them back to health.
This is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. With the so called "Credit Crunch" more and more cats are been placed in rescues all around the country.I am also Assistant Manager for RACR another rescue based in Nottingham it was during this time working with Andrea she inspired me to launch my own rescue, so on January 15th 2010 Thorneywood Cat Rescue was launched.I work from home which is in Nottingham with some help from Khaled my husband.
Ella was with me quite a while as she was really ill, she was under RACR
Ella will always hold a special place in my heart. My sweet Ella Bella x Sadly in march 2011 Ella had to be put to sleep as she had cancer.Sleep well my special girl xxx
